History

Vigneti del Vulture is the Basilicata estate of the Fantini (Farnese) group, working Aglianico on the volcanic slopes of Monte Vulture around Barile, Maschito and Acerenza, at altitudes reaching some eight hundred metres.

Its best-known wine, the 'Pipoli' Aglianico del Vulture, is made from hand-picked Aglianico and has carried the Vulture's name to export markets.
