History
Masseria Lanzolla was founded in 1955 when Giuseppe Lanzolla, of Apulian origin and heir to an old winemaking family, bought land at Montalbano Jonico and planted the estate's first vines.
Today run by the Mininni-Lanzolla family, the masseria farms twenty-five hectares of vineyard within its 100-plus-hectare property and also operates as an agriturismo, bottling Matera DOC and Basilicata IGT wines.
