History

Azienda Agricola Fortunato is based at Contrada Giardino in Grumento Nova and has produced deliberately organic wines since 1996, one of the longer-standing organic growers in the Alta Val d'Agri.

The estate is a member of the Terre dell'Alta Val d'Agri consortium, farming the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon plantings typical of this small DOC in the high Agri valley.
