Aglianico del Vulture DOC

History

The Carbone brothers Vittorio and Enzo planted Aglianico at Melfi in the early 1970s but stopped winemaking by the late 1980s.

Vittorio's children Luca and Sara resumed the family business, making their first Aglianico vinification in 2005 and building an underground tuff cellar in the historic centre of Melfi.
