History
The Allegrino family named Tenuta Secolo IX for the ninth-century foundation of the Abbey of San Clemente a Casauria, whose monks once grew the Moscatello the estate has revived.
On about twenty-two hectares at Castiglione a Casauria they make the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, such as Fioravante, along with Cerasuolo and Pecorino.
