History

Marchesi de' Cordano was founded in 2000 by the D'Onofrio family, growers and winemakers over several generations, starting with the first 12 hectares of the historic Santa Caterina estate a few kilometers from Loreto Aprutino.

Now led by Francesco D'Onofrio with enologist Vittorio Festa, it farms over 50 hectares of Montepulciano, Trebbiano and other Abruzzo varieties, bottling Montepulciano, Cerasuolo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo alongside Pecorino, Cococciola and Passerina.
