History

Don Vincenzo Pizzica gathered growers into a cooperative at Miglianico in 1961 to keep local wine from being undervalued, and the members bottled their first wine by 1966.

Its roughly three hundred members work over five hundred hectares, making the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano and Pecorino of the province.
