Also known as Trebbiano della Fiamma.

A genuinely distinct MASAF-registered member of the wide Trebbiano family (scheda 242), described from a clone in the ampelographic collection of the Stazione Sperimentale di Viticoltura ed Enologia of Conegliano and cross-checked against material grown around Ravenna, Forlì, and Bologna — separately registered from, and not a synonym of, Trebbiano Toscano (scheda 244) or Trebbiano Giallo (scheda 240), both already profiled in this dataset. A vigorous, reliably productive, disease-resistant vine with medium-large, cylindro-pyramidal, winged clusters and amber-yellow, thin-skinned berries, harvested in early October. Around Lugo (Ravenna) and neighboring areas, grapes that ripen to a especially deep golden color are locally called "Trebbiano della fiamma." Wines are pale straw, high in alcohol, delicately aromatic (green apple, pear, citrus, white flowers), crisp and clean, typically made unoaked for early drinking, though also used as a base for spumante and for distillation.

One of four varieties (with Trebbiano Giallo, Trebbiano Toscano, and Trebbiano di Soave) required to make up a minimum 85% of the generic "Trebbiano" designation in Provincia di Mantova and Sabbioneta IGT.
