Also known as Pignoletto, Grechetto gentile.

Rebola is the traditional name in the Rimini hills for the white grape known elsewhere in Emilia-Romagna as Pignoletto and in Umbria as Grechetto gentile. It is the signature white of the Colli di Rimini, made dry as well as in off-dry and passito styles.

As with Pignoletto, it yields fresh whites with good acidity and orchard-fruit and almond notes; the sweet Rebola passito is a local specialty.
