Also known as Bombino Bianco, Pagadebito.

Pagadebit is the Romagna name for Bombino Bianco, a reliable, productive white grape whose dialect name ('debt-payer') reflects its dependable yields even in difficult years. It is grown chiefly around Bertinoro, which has its own named sub-zone.

It gives light, fresh, gently floral whites with soft acidity, made dry and frizzante. Its dependability made it historically valuable to growers as a hedge against crop failure.
