← Grapes

Ortrugo is a white grape native to the Piacenza hills, long a blending partner for Malvasia in the Colli Piacentini and now a varietal DOC in its own right (Ortrugo dei Colli Piacentini). It is made dry, and especially as a fresh frizzante.

It gives light-bodied, crisp whites with citrus and white-flower aromas and a characteristic gently bitter finish.
