A red grape registered in Italy's national vine register as "Neretta Cuneese N." — a distinct variety from the generically-named "Neretto" of the Canavese area (see that profile for the ambiguity around Neretto's own identity). Member of Valsusa DOC's red ampelographic base (with Avanà, Barbera, Becuet and Dolcetto, jointly at least 60%), with no monovarietal typology of its own.
