Malvasia Moscata

A black, aromatic grape that — jointly with Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, together at least 85% — forms the ampelographic base of Pinerolese DOC's "Malvasia" typology, introduced by the 2024 disciplinare update (DM 19.04.2024). The 85% threshold applies to the combined total of the two varieties, not to either individually. Not a synonym of Malvasia di Casorzo, Malvasia di Schierano, or Malvasia Nera Lunga — a further distinct entry in the Malvasia family.
