← Grapes

Also known as Amabile di Genova (part).

Malbo Gentile is a red grape of Emilia, grown across the Modena and Reggio provinces where it is a permitted blending and varietal grape in the Lambrusco denominations and the Reggio hills. It is often used to add color, softness and a hint of sweetness.

It gives aromatic, soft, fruit-forward reds with low tannin, sometimes made in sweet or lightly sparkling styles.
