Impigno

White grapePuglia, southern Italy (Ostuni)
← Grapes

Impigno is a rare white wine grape of the Ostuni area in the province of Brindisi, Puglia. It is one of the near-endemic varieties of the Città Bianca, grown mainly as a component of the local white wine.

In the Ostuni DOC white, Impigno is the majority partner (50–85%) alongside Francavilla. Independent varietal data is very scarce, so its measured characteristics are left unrecorded here rather than estimated.
