Guarnaccia

Guarnaccia is a black-skinned grape grown on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples, where it is a traditional component of the island's red wines. On Ischia it is distinct from the several white grapes that share the name 'Guarnaccia' elsewhere in the Italian south, and it is used mainly in blends rather than as a stand-alone varietal.
