Francavilla

Also known as Francavidda.

Francavilla, locally Francavidda, is a rare white wine grape of the Ostuni area in the province of Brindisi, Puglia, one of the near-endemic varieties of the Città Bianca. Its name recalls the nearby town of Francavilla Fontana.

In the Ostuni DOC white it is the minority partner (15–50%) alongside Impigno. Independent varietal data is very scarce, so its measured characteristics are left unrecorded here rather than estimated.
