Fenile

White grapeCampania, southern Italy (Amalfi Coast, Tramonti)
← Grapes

Fenile is a rare white grape of the Amalfi Coast, one of the near-endemic Amalfitan varieties grown on the steep terraces around Tramonti, often on pre-phylloxera ungrafted vines.

Fenile is used together with Pepella, Ripoli and Ginestra in the Tramonti sub-zone white of the Costa d'Amalfi DOC. Independent varietal data is very scarce, so its measured characteristics are left unrecorded here rather than estimated.
