Doux d'Henry
Also known as Doux d'Henry N..
A local native grape of the Pinerolese area, registered in Italy's national vine register as "Doux d'Henry N." It is self-sterile, so vineyard area counted toward the DOC's vine registry only includes plots with an actual stand of the variety present. Vinified alone it gives the monovarietal "Pinerolese" Doux d'Henry, described in the disciplinare as a more-or-less intense rosé colour, fresh and pleasantly fruity on the nose, soft and harmonious on the palate and sometimes off-dry.
