← Grapes

Bianchetta Genovese is a native white grape of the province of Genova, traditionally grown in the eastern Riviera and the hinterland valleys, and used in the Golfo del Tigullio-Portofino and Val Polcevera DOCs. It is a historic Genoese variety valued for freshness.

It gives light, crisp, fresh dry whites with delicate floral and citrus aromas, modest body and a pleasant acidity, often blended with Vermentino to add lift and drinkability; it is generally enjoyed young.
